GEAPS 525: Management of Insect Pests is a great course for those involved in grain handling and storage, exploring why infestations occur and how to manage them when they do. GEAPS 545: Grain Entrapment covers everything from common entrapment causes to equipment and systems used in preventing accidents. By the end of the class, students will be knowledgeable about regulations, initiatives and standards, and be comfortable putting emergency plans into place.

GEAPS 550: Materials Handling I is the first course in a three-part series designed for professionals with responsibilities for facility management, operation and maintenance. This introduction teaches participants to identify various grain and ingredient characteristics and their effects on the selection and sizing of bins, spouting and screw conveyors.
