| GEAPS 530 - Quality Mgmt Systems for Bulk Material Handling Operations
This five-week course will be offered January 11 through February 12, 2010. Registration begins November 18, 2009 and ends December 31, 2009. Registration is open to 50 students, on a first-come, first-served basis.
The cost to attend is $515 for active GEAPS members, and $715 for non-members. The non-member rate includes GEAPS membership through June 30, 2010.

The course “textbooks” are CDs that are mailed to students, who link together through a dedicated class website supervised by Kansas State University. The site contains the course syllabus, a networking component that enables discussion between students and faculty, and online quizzes. This Distance Learning Opportunity requires a Windows-based computer of newer vintage - at least a Pentium III processor running Windows98 or higher, a CD-ROM drive to play the lecture CDs, a modem to access the course website on the internet and a working, accessible email address. Students are expected to progress through the classes together, but can study or take quizzes any time of the day or night. No travel is required. | ||
