Lakes & Luxury – Minneapolis City Tour
Sunday, Mar. 3, Noon-4 p.m.
This great afternoon of enjoyment will start with a mini-tour of the "City of Lakes." One of the greatest beauties of Minneapolis is its lakes and parks system, most of which is surrounded by lavish homes and neighborhoods, not to mention photogenic natural beauty, especially Minnehaha Falls.
On this special tour you will experience a little bit of the best Minneapolis has to offer. Sit back and relax while you tour past the iconic "Spoon and Cherry" at the Walker Art Center Sculpture Garden, past the beautiful lakes in the heart of the city, a spin down by the Mississippi River and past the world famous Guthrie Theater.
After the city tour, CRAVE Restaurant—one of the Twin Cities' signature restaurants—will welcome you with wine and hors d'oeuvres. You'll enjoy these treats before exploring the signature shops that await you in The Galleria, an enclosed "street" and window shop with an exceptional selection of over 70 specialty stores and unique local shops in a sophisticated, relaxed atmosphere.
Monday, Mar. 5, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
This day will begin with a mini-tour as you wind your way to the capital city of St. Paul. Combining the old, the new and the unique—with a few bad guys along the way—St. Paul is a very special destination for both Minnesotans and visitors.
"Gangsters and Ghosts" are some of St. Paul's most fascinating and colorful former residents, and these seemingly unrelated aspects of St. Paul history sometimes overlap in this fun-filled tour with tales of hauntings and accounts of the city's gangster era of the 1920's and 30's.
Destinations include the Wabasha Caves, a throwback to the prohibition era of speakeasies and gangsters. Lunch will be served in the caves followed by a tour of the caves and a history of their importance to St. Paul and the region. A costumed "gangster guide" will take over the coach and lead the tour on to explore sites and haunts of famous gangsters like John Dillinger, Ma Barker and Baby Face Nelson.
Tour highlights also include the Minnesota State Capital and the St. Paul Cathedral, as well as the Ramsey County Courthouse and the Landmark Center, both sites of gangster trials. A drive down elegant Summit Avenue features magnificent mansions and Victorian homes such as the James J. Hill House, Burbank Livingston Griggs House and the Chauncy Griggs House, all of which some say have been haunted for over 75 years! Summit Avenue is the longest avenue of Victorian-style homes in the country.
After a full day of tours and lunch, enjoy a stop at the spectacular Marjorie McNeely Conservatory on the ground of the Como Zoo. For over 100 years, this glass-enclosed Victorian beauty has welcomed guests to enjoy its magnificent gardens.
Tuesday, Mar. 6, 8:30-9:45 a.m.

Kick off the final day of the Exchange with all of the friends you have met over a full breakfast buffet.
Wine, Chocolate and Cheese
Tuesday, Mar. 6, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Exciting and unpretentious, the award-winning Warehouse Winery is an authentic working winery in an artistically crafted space designed and constructed by the winemaker and proprietor. His mission to make the best wines in the Upper Midwest demanded a worthy environment—inspiring, creative, energetic—fueling his passion during long work days.
In addition to wine, you will sample some fabulous cheese and chocolate presented by Surdyk's. Indulge in cheese from around the world, accompanied by olives, Marcona almonds from Spain, dried fruits, quince paste, fresh grapes and berries. A Surdyk's cheesemonger will be at the ready to answer questions and give tips for pairings.
Surdyk's has one of the most impressive chocolate retail collections in town and is currently working with cacao farmers in South America to promote sustainable, fair (or direct) trade chocolate business practices in the U.S. An expert will advise on chocolate tasting and pairing with wine, beer and liquor.
