Once known as the grain milling capital of the world, Minneapolis will again be the focus of the grain handling industry when GEAPS brings the Exchange back to the Twin Cities. GEAPS' 83rd annual technical conference and exposition will bring GEAPerS from around the world to Exchange 2012 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
The Expo Hall will be filled with record-breaking numbers of exhibitors and booths containing products, equipment and services designed specifically for professionals like you. From companies that have been at every Exchange for more than 40 years, to new exhibitors eager to be a part of the premier show in the industry, another sell-out promises that this year's Expo will be the biggest and best one yet.
The Educational Programming Committee has carefully planned another slate of interesting and topical sessions. The Opening Workshop on developing a culture of safety kicks off the education program. The program also includes the very popular equipment-oriented Expo Pod sessions and the Idea Exchange, which highlights innovative ideas from industry professionals. Of course, the heart of the program consists of the hour-long educational sessions, and this year's schedule is packed with useful information that can be used on the job right away.
An important component of any Exchange is the opportunity to network and socialize. Minneapolis will be no exception, and from the kick-off Get-Acquainted Party to the closing President's Banquet, the Exchange provides times just for attendees to interact, catch up with old friends and make new contacts, and have a great time. Bringing a spouse or significant other along? Check out the Guest Program, with some great tours that take advantage of some of the great things the Twin Cities has to offer visitors.
