GEAPS Exchange 2012 Registration Information

How to Register

There are two ways you can register for GEAPS Exchange 2012—either by completing the registration form and faxing/mailing it to GEAPS with your payment, or by registering online. (Credit card payment required for online option.)

Whichever way you choose, if your registration and payment are received by Feb. 2, you will qualify for substantial registration discounts.

You can customize the registration package that best fits your needs. Look over the different options available to ensure that you will get the Exchange experience that you are looking for.

All attendees who pre-register for the Exchange will receive a confirmation. For those who register online and provide an e-mail address, they will receive a confirmation via e-mail. Registrations sent to the GEAPS office will be confirmed by e-mail (when provided) or regular mail.

Who Needs to Register

All Exchange events are open only to individuals who are registered and wearing their official badges. This includes the Expo Hall and all à la carte and optional events. All exhibitors also need to register individually for the Exchange (see below).

Guests of registrants must also register and wear their badge to access any event. If they are only planning to share hotel accommodations, but not attend any Exchange events, they do not need to register.

What if I'm not a GEAPS member?

There's an option on the registration form to become a new GEAPS member. Annual dues are $290/person, but if you pay the fee with your conference registration, your new membership will run through June 2013. (Three extra months!) A confirmation of your new membership will be sent separately from your Exchange registration confirmation (after the conference).

What are the Early Discounts?

You will save 25% on the onsite price for all events if your form and payment are received by Feb. 2, 2012. This "early pre-registration" discount is your incentive to register now. If either your registration form or payment is received after Feb. 2 but before the pre-registration cut-off date of Feb. 27, 2012, you will still qualify for the "pre-registration" discount, which saves you 15% on the onsite prices. Any registrations made after Feb. 27 or onsite will be charged the full price.

What if I Have to Cancel?

Registration cancellations received by GEAPS no later than Feb. 2, 2012, entitle the registrant to a full refund. Cancellations received after that date will be charged a 25% administrative fee. Refunds can be made only when the refund request is made in writing and received by Feb. 27, 2012. There are no refunds for cancellations made after Feb. 27 or onsite. All refunds will be processed after the conference.

Expo-Only Tickets

If you only wish to walk the Expo, you can only register onsite. Expo-only tickets are $50/member, $75/non-member and are valid for only one day.

For Exchange Exhibitors

All exhibitors coming to the Exchange must register individually. Each person who plans to attend must complete in a registration form (or register online).

Each exhibiting company receives two complimentary exibitor registrations per each 10'x10' booth they reserved. Exhibitors may purchase guest, à-la-carte or optional tickets.

Any additional individuals beyond the two complimentary exhibitor registrations may also attend but must purchase additional exhibitor registrations (at a special reduced rate). Exhibitors cannot register with Expo discount coupons or an Expo-only ticket.
