Guest Tour — Observe Omaha: Museums and More
Monday, February 25, 10:00 am – 3:30 pm
Monday is “design your own tour” day. You’ll be able to choose from various points of interest in Omaha. Explore the zoo or discover one of the many museums. The group will gather at one location to grab lunch together and then it’s off to another interesting site. You’ll get to choose from…
• The Henry Doorly Zoo has evolved from the small Riverview Park zoo, established in 1894, into a world class tourist attraction and a leader in environmental education. The Scott Aquarium and Lied Jungle, Desert Dome, Kingdoms of the Night, Hubbard Gorilla Valley and Hubbard Orangutan Forest provide immersive environments that display animals in their natural habitats.
• The Durham Western Heritage Museum offers unique, hands-on learning for people of all ages. Explore Omaha’s history, discover something new in our temporary exhibits and remember the past through our special collections.
• In formation since 1931, Joslyn Art Museum’s collection now contains more than 11,000 works of art from all over the world, antiquity to the present, with a concentration on 19th and 20th century European and American art. The Joslyn is renowned for its collection of art of the American West.

Classy Gourmet Cooking School and Westroads Mall
Tuesday, February 26, 9:15 am – 3:00 pm
The Classy Gourmet is Omaha’s premier Culinary Arts Center. Our Cooking School offers an extraordinary diversity of subjects and caters to every skill level from the novice to the connoisseur. Our guest chefs are enthusiastic about food, wine and the sharing of their knowledge with you, the student. Learn by doing and then sit down with your new friends to enjoy the fruits of your labor with a beautifully presented treat. You will leave with copies of our exceptional recipes and the confidence to prepare them on your own.
When you are not at the cooking school, you can take some time to browse the shops at the Westroads Mall. This mall is a short distance from the cooking school and transportation will be provided. Depending on the number of people who attend, while one group is cooking, the other will be shopping and vice versa.
