Get-Acquainted Party
Saturday, February 23, 7:00 – 11:00 pm
This popular event is back by overwhelming demand from Exchange delegates. The night before the “official” opening of the Exchange, the Get-Acqainted Party is your chance to meet up with other attendees and enjoy some great food, beverages and music. If past Get-Acquainted Parties are any measure, almost everyone is there, so make sure to get your ticket.

Welcome Reception
Sunday, February 24, 5:00 – 7:00 pm
This event in the expo hall is for everyone—all registered delegates, exhibitors and guests. Enjoy a beverage and an appetizer or two while you stroll through the trade show. This casual opportunity to network, do business or simply relax with other attendees, was introduced at last year’s Exchange and proved to be a big success.
President's Reception & Banquet

We’ll close Exchange 2008 with the President’s Reception, Banquet and Club GEAPS. The evening begins with a reception outside the ballroom. (Beverage coupons provided with ticket.) Proceed into the banquet—a highlight of the Exchange every year. It’s the opportunity to honor people who have made special contributions to the organization through leadership, member recruitment, outstanding service to their chapter, etc. The evening will also include the annual Safety Awards presentation. We’ll even give out some free cash! Join your fellow GEAPS members and guests for a delicious dinner and then finish your night at Club GEAPS. This casual event features great music, desserts and conversation to wind down your Exchange experience.

Fun Run/Walk –
A Full 1/10 of a Marathon
Sunday, February 24, 5:30am start
Whether you want to run or walk; 2 miles, 5 miles, 10 or 26; we’ll map it out for you: this is the event for those of you with the extra get up and go on Sunday morning of the Exchange. Join other GEAPS members on this refreshing course that will include the Omaha riverfront and the Old Market.
There is no fee for the Fun Run, but please let us know you’re bringing your running shoes by marking this event on the registration form.
