General Session Comedian Russ Stolnack
Tuesday, February 26, 3:45 – 4:45 pm; Open to all Delegates and Guests

GEAPS Educational Programming Committee takes its job seriously -- especially when it’s time to select a comedian for the annual general session. Over the years, the committee has landed some hilarious people, including David Naster, Buzz Sutherland, Ross Bennett and, at Exchange 2007, Greg Hahn.

At Exchange 2008 in Omaha, the EPC is going to strike again. At a meeting last month in St. Louis, the committee reviewed an armful of audition DVDs and selected Russ Stolnak, one of the funniest guys around.

Stolnak, an Emmy Award-winning actor and writer, is winner of the National Speakers Assn. Humorous Speaker Competition. He’s a comedy club veteran and Las Vegas regular who has also appeared numerous times as a stand-up comedian on national TV. In California, Stolnak may be best known as ‘Russ T. Nailz’ – his radio show alter ego. He also was entertainment reporter on a TV news program there.

Stolnak says he’s currently working on a book about stress. Chapter one is titled “Get Married and Have Kids.”

The Exchange General Session is open free to all registered Exchange delegates and guests.

GEAPS Annual Meeting
Tuesday, February 26, 3:15 – 3:45 pm
The annual meeting of GEAPS membership is the place to catch up on every facet of the association. GEAPS 2007-2008 international president Mike Myrick will detail the accomplishments over the past year, as well as chart a path into the future.

Most Exchange attendees are GEAPS members, so don’t miss this chance to participate in this meeting of your fellow GEAPerS. Mr. Myrick will outline many of the ambitious programs GEAPS is actively involved in or just embarking upon. There are opportunities for GEAPS members at every level.

The general session presentation will take place immediately following the annual meeting in the same room.
