Simply put, members.geaps.com is a window into the GEAPS membership database.
The system is an all-encompassing membership management database. The GEAPS membership database was developed as a tool to manage memberships, committees, chapters, meetings, exhibitors, advertisers and more.
The web component of the system allows users to take control of their records and accomplish tasks immediately without waiting for a third party to receive and enter their information.
For example, a member who needs to update their contact information, like with a new address or phone number, can simply login to the database and change their own record. The changes are effective the moment they are submitted. Updated membership records are available not only to GEAPS for communicating with members, but also to chapter leaders and other members who are looking for contacts.
The membership database is also the easiest way for members to apply for and renew their memberships. Simply follow the on-screen instruction and you're only seconds away from a process that used to take days or weeks involving paperwork, cutting checks, posting mail, data processing and confirmation.
The database also keeps track of leadership, meetings, companies who advertise, exhibit and sponsor with GEAPS, some registration for educational programs, and more. As members get more experience using the database, you'll be able to do even more with it.
