Already been to the online membership database? Click here to log back in.
The database is a snap to use, and some experimental clicking around may be all you need to do to learn how it works and what it offers. But here are a few basic instructions:
Before you can look around the online membership database, make sure you've logged in (see instructions here).
Let’s get started!
Now that you’ve created your user name and password, you can use the membership database in a myriad of ways. Your user name and password will also allow you to login to www.geaps.com to access the “members-only” pages.
Using the Member Directory
A benefit of GEAPS membership is networking with other GEAPS members. And with the membership database, you can access GEAPS committees’ or your fellow GEAPS’ members contact information in real time.
Finding Members
Go to the membership database (members.geaps.com -- opens in a new window so you can keep this page open).
Log on or create an account if you are new to the GEAPS online membership database.
If you’ve forgotten your user name, password, or need to create an online account, click the appropriate link on the page and follow the instructions. (If you need assistance, please contact the GEAPS Office.)
Once you have logged in, choose the box titled “Directory.”
Search by committee
The Directory gives you two main search options: search by member or search by committee. To search by committee, click on “Committees” in the left-hand column. When you arrive at the Committee page, click “Select” next to the committee you would like to view, and you will be brought to the list of members for that committee or board of directors. Clicking on any of the four icons on the top right of the member list will allow you to view and save the committee in the following file formats – Microsoft Word, Excel, PDF or .csv file.
Search for individual members
To search for individual members, click on “Members” in the left-hand column. When you arrive at the “Source” page, you will see a set of search boxes. Search for members using as little or as much criteria as you wish. (Keep in mind that a generic search will produce more results than using specific criteria)
Once you enter the criteria that you are looking for, click on “Filter” and you will see the list of active members that fit the data you entered. The column titles can be sorted, giving you the ability to alphabetize your list by last name, company, address or email.
