The GEAPS Leadership Education and Networking Workshop offers something for everyone. New grain industry professionals and experienced leaders alike are invited to experience this special two-day event. Attendees will sharpen leadership skills, gain practical insights and expand their professional networks.

This year’s focus is on human resources.

  • Is finding new employees a challenge? Learn how to attract and retain happy and engaged employees.
  • Are you sabotaging your efforts to create an environment of inclusion? Learn ways to foster greater equity.
  • How well do you relate to your employees? Learn to connect in spite of different values or learning styles.
  • How can we build for the future? Learn the roles of on-boarding and
    inclusion when hiring and retaining employees.

Earn a Continuing Education Unit (CEU)

If you have a credential through the GEAPS/Kansas State University Distance Education Program, you must earn one full CEU every three years to maintain the certification. Workshop sessions count for half (0.6) of one unit. To earn credit for attending, make sure you sign in at each session, and GEAPS will email you a link to an online quiz with 24 hours of the workshop close.
