The Knowledge Resource for the World of Grain Handling and Processing Industry Operations

The 2018 GEAPS Leadership Education and Networking Workshop once again offered something for everyone. New grain industry professionals and experienced leaders alike were invited to experience this special two-day event. Attendees sharpened leadership skills, gained practical insights and expanded their professional networks.

This year’s focus was on human resources, a cornerstone of any successful operation.

  • Struggling with how fast things are shifting in your organization and the industry? Create a mindset for change and innovation.
  • Is finding new employees a challenge? Learn how to attract and retain happy and engaged employees.
  • Avoid the rumor mills. Lead and manage change within your organization.
  • Who is up next? Create a succession plan, from mentoring to promoting future leaders

Check out pictures from this year’s event.

Those who attended left the workshop better able to choose, manage and retain dedicated employees who will stay with their operation for years to come.

Bringing it all Together

The new Closing Discussion Panel joins the workshop speakers with industry experts to offer additional insights and answer questions in a group setting. The engaging finale helped everyone process the workshop topics and apply them to their operations.
