GEAPS Canadian Prairies Chapter (CPR)

About GEAPS Canadian Prairies Chapter

Winnipeg, Manitoba Area

Canadian Prairies is an active, involved chapter, it’s also a great way to grow your professional network. While you will be able to meet virtually and in-person with members around the world at our trainings and events, you probably will form the closest contacts with members in your home chapter in Canada.

Canadian Prairies is best known for The Coolest Show. The biennial event has all the things you like to see such an event—things to learn, products to explore, networking a lot of fun!

While The Coolest Show lives up to its name, the chapter also gets together for regular meetings, golf tournaments and other events. The chapter likes to have fun and gets together with spouses once a year, going to dinner and perhaps seeing the Winnipeg Blue Bombers play. They also hosted their Annual General Meeting to elect new chapter leaders at the Winnipeg Goldeyes Baseball game.

As a chapter member, you’ll also be able to attend regular supper meetings with keynote speakers a few times each year.

Reach out to any of the chapter leaders mentioned on this page to learn how you can get involved.

Canadian Prairies was featured in an episodes of Whole Grain, GEAPS’ podcast. Give it a listen to learn directly from your chapter leaders.

If you’re not sure what’s going on, your Canadian Prairies chapter leaders are listed to the right. They would be happy to hear from you! Wondering what’s going on? Look below to see the local chapter calendar of events in the Winnipeg area.

Also, check your email for Member Focus. Each month, GEAPS will send you an email listing chapter events. Traveling for business? Chapter events are usually open to all, no matter your home base. Visiting other chapters is a great way to expand your network.
