Julius Rhodes

Julius E. Rhodes, SPHR is the founder and principal of the mpr group,  a full service broad-based human resources and management professional services firm in the greater Chicago area. Rhodes is a Leadership Greater Chicago Fellow, class of 1999 and the author of “BRAND: YOU: Personal Branding Success in Life and Business” and BRAND: YOU: The Workbook.”  

He is sought-after keynote speaker, having presented nationally and internationally on a variety of HR topics such as personal branding, diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I), leadership development, risk mitigation and safety. Rhodes as also completed coursework toward a Ph.D. in Philosophy and Business Ethics at Loyola University, has a lifetime Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification, the highest level of official recognition in his profession. In 1992, he completed a certified arbitrator development program through Cornell University and the New York State Employment Relations Board. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from Roosevelt University and a Master of Science in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from Loyola University. Before forming the mpr group, Rhodes worked for several Fortune 100 firms such as Mobil Oil, General Electric, Baxter Healthcare and Sara Lee. He also served as a field examiner for the National Labor Relations Board.
