Dan South

Dan South is the vice president of operations and co-owner of Dome Technology. In this role, South is responsible for all business and construction activities, both foreign and domestic including operations and pricing efforts. He has traveled extensively in Asia, Europe, North and South America, Africa and the Middle East assisting customers in numerous industries including the ag/grain sector.  

South’s knowledge and experience is extensive with domes and the dome construction process, allowing him to explain many of the attributes that customers can benefit from with these structures. His father developed the methods Dome Technology used for years and South and the team have expanded on the technology and continue to innovate to this day expanding the industry from hemisphere structures to very customizable units that can be altered to maximize the benefit to all its customers.  

South earned a bachelor’s degree in production management from Utah State University. He lives in Eastern Idaho and has been with Dome for more than 25 years.
