Advisory Councils

Chapter Resource Committee (CRC)

The Chapter Resource Committee provides GEAPS chapter leader outreach as a knowledge and peer-support resource for leadership and program development.

Continuing Education Planning Oversight Committee (CEPOC)

The CEPOC provides leadership support for and oversight of planning, design development, production and delivery of GEAPS’ distance education-based professional development and continuing education programs. The committee also provides leadership support for and oversight of GEAPS grain operations technical and management credentialing program. The Continuing Education Program Oversight Committee (CEPOC) has two subcommittees, Grain Operations Subcommittee (GOS) and Grain Processing Subcommittee (GPS).

Exchange Educational Programming Committee (EPC)

The Exchange Educational Programming Committee represents member interests in the professional development program components of the annual international technical conference and exposition, the Exchange, by identifying long-term grain operations continuingeducation needs and trends, establishing program development objectives, selecting topics and faculty, overseeing content development and evaluating program effectiveness to improve
future performance.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee provides direction for and oversight of GEAPS’ membership development plans and programs to include member recruitment, retention and engagement.

Exchange Host Advisory Councils (HAC)

The Exchange Host Advisory Council advises the International Board, Exchange Educational Programming Committee and staff on Exchange production planning. It also supports on-site production by organizing member volunteers to greet and welcome Exchange delegates and guests at registration and social events. The advisory council comprises GEAPS members and member spouses located in or near the Exchange location.
