Registration Open for CONVEY ’24

GEAPS, Grain Journal (GEAPS Media Group) along with the National Grain and Feed Association (NGFA) are happy to announce registration is open for CONVEY’24.

The annual conference and tradeshow is scheduled for July 23-25 at the Omaha Hilton in Omaha, Nebraska. The event will feature a trade show and multiple opportunities to learn from the best in the business during educational sessions. More than just a safety conference, this year’s program goes deeper to explore the intersection of safety and new technology. Both safety professionals and operations personnel can benefit from these presentations.

The educational program will be split into three days.

 Tuesday, July 23
Plan to come to Omaha early for a first-time event. Degesch America will present a Pesticide Recertification Program 1-5 p.m. Tuesday, July 23 at the Omaha Hilton. Approvals valid for Colorado, Kansas, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Texas.

The same day, NGFA’s Safety, Health and Environmental Quality committee will meet noon-4 p.m.

CONVEY’24 will get started in earnest on Wednesday. After a brief welcome, the first educational session begins at 8:05. The day also includes a panel discussion with members of the Business Merchandizing Operations Committee (BMOC) discussing what they’re planning to do at their facilities in the coming years.

Sessions on Wednesday, July 24 include:
• What Will a Grain Handling Facility Look Like Over the Next 10 Years?
• Technology and Modernization in the Grain Industry
• Energy Efficiency Best Practices
• Automation Areas
• NFPA Requirements and Effective Dust Mitigation and Control Systems
• Human Organizational Performance—Behavior Safety

Sessions on Thursday, July 25 include:
• SIF Potential and Prevention Strategies
• Onboarding and Training Best Practices
• How to Utilize Equipment at an Older Facility
