Most looking forward to in joining the GEAPS community:

I joined GEAPS to deepen my connection with the grain industry and to actively contribute to the community. I’m passionate about agriculture and strongly believe in the power of sharing best practices across the value chain. GEAPS felt like the perfect place to engage with industry professionals who share the same goals, particularly being deeply rooted in the grain post-harvest segment—harvest, storage, and logistics. Upon moving to Chicago from Europe, I am especially excited to attend my first Cornbelt chapter meeting and meet people who’ve been shaping the industry. As someone still early in my career, I’m eager to learn from more experienced peers and accelerate my understanding of the challenges and innovations in grain operations. I’m looking forward to exchanging insights with industry leaders—especially around their strategic priorities and perspectives on digitalization.

Favorite part about working in the grain industry:

My favorite part of working in the grain industry is connecting with grain and operations leaders to better understand the real-world problems they’re trying to solve and how they approach improving their business processes. I also appreciate how human this industry is. There’s a strong sense of community, relationships matter, and people take pride in what they do—and that really resonates with me. What I enjoy most is building long-lasting partnerships with grain companies. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the positive impact our solutions have—not just on operations, but also on the day-to-day lives of the people who use them.

Unique fact about your company:

We are a global company proud to represent GEAPS’ international membership sector! What sets Javelot apart as an AgTech company is the scale and measurable impact of our work. We currently oversee more than 600 million bushels of grain across 12 countries, supporting over 150 clients. Our scalable solutions empower grain and operations teams, dedicated to post-harvest grain management, offering a powerful combination of hardware and software solutions. Our platform enables grain co-operatives, trading companies, and storage operators to standardize storage practices, monitor grain quality and traceability in real time, and optimize their entire supply chain.

How do you foresee your GEAPS membership helping you grow personally or professionally?

On a professional level, it allows me to connect directly with industry leaders, gain insights into operational challenges, and stay ahead of emerging trends in grain storage and logistics. These conversations help shape how we continue to build relevant and impactful solutions at Javelot. On a personal level, I’m excited to learn from peers who’ve dedicated their careers to this industry. Being part of such a knowledgeable and engaged community will help me expand my understanding of the industry much faster than I could on my own. It’s also a chance to give back—by sharing what we’ve learned across Europe, I hope to contribute to the exchange of best practices and help others grow, too.
