GEAPS Exchange 2024: Preventative Maintenance
Session Description
Maintaining a safe and secure work environment is crucial, especially as structures age and wear over time. Just as individuals go for regular check-ups to monitor their health as they age, it is equally important to conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of facilities. This proactive approach helps prevent structural failures and ensures a safe working environment. Using advanced techniques is essential. Ground-penetrating radar (GPR) scans and drone inspections are valuable tools to assess the structure’s condition accurately.
